Let's raise $50,000 in 2018 to help fight Parkinson's Disease

In 2014, I first began to experience the symptoms of Parkinson's Disease... I am one of five million people worldwide who are living with Parkinson’s disease — a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. Today there is no known cure for Parkinson’s disease, but together, we can change this.

Donate to Team Excellence at the Michael J. Fox Foundation

Team Excellence is the grassroots community fundraising program that is directly associated with The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). MJFF accelerates high-impact science through smart risk taking and problem solving with a commitment to urgency and efficiency. I’m one of thousands of people around the globe who are turning their passions into Team Fox fundraisers to help them speed a cure for Parkinson’s. When you give today, 100 percent of Team Excellence proceeds go straight to MJFF research programs!

Supporting people who have recent received a Parkinson's diagnosis

When I began experiencing the symptoms of Parkinson's, I felt alone and unsure about what was going on. Once I received my diagnosis, it became very clear that I would need to actively manage my treatment. There were many healthcare providers involved, but none of them coordinated my overall care. They are amazing at their narrow piece of the puzzle, but the healthcare system isn't effectively putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together. I was very unsure about how best coordinate and oversee my care. I have learned a few things and would be happy to share them with people who are in the early stages of the disease.

If you know someone that needs to talk or you want to get involved in helping improve the quality of healthcare for people with chronic, degenerative conditions, please contact us and we will follow up with you.
